Integrated SEQ Management System is based on ISO 9000 Quality, ISO 14000 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety management systems. All of these management systems are applied in an integrated way to all company processes.

The Omya Group operates within the framework of long term goals, shared values and high principles. Quality, safety and corporate accountability are Omya’s principles upon which it conducts its business.

The Group’s primary role is to serve our customers’ requirements over the long term, and to continually improve its products and services without compromise of service. Omya’s policy regarding occupational safety, environmental protection and quality focuses primarily on the following key points:

• Compliance with applicable regulatory laws, rules and regulations. Omya’s safety and environmental standards are also directed to anticipate future needs.
• Omya’s products and operations must operate safely and be considerate of the community in which it operates.
• Activities are conducted in a manner that is sensitive and aware of environmental responsibility.
• Omya aims for safe and incident-free operation throughout the world. Omya regards accidents, injuries, occupational health and safety issues or environmental harm unacceptable, and continually strives to prevent them from happening.

• Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) factors are integral to all business decisions, in all areas of activity and at all levels of managerial responsibility.
• Employees receive appropriate training. Management adopts a system approach that accounts for every step of the value chains from the quarry or any other supplier to the customer. Responsibility for achieving our Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) goals rests with the entire Omya workforce.
